Happy Thursday!
Last week Nate & I took a quick road trip to Indianapolis for a few nights. We went mainly to see Charlie Puth, and then added an extra day 😊
We stayed at the Bottleworks Hotel and it was super cool. It's an old Coca-Cola bottling plant, and so they've got lots of super unique old things that make it really fun and creative.
They had a great coffee shop that made delicious chais, and we also were super close to lots of things on Mass Ave. We walked, ate, and played ping pong & big connect 4 at a place called Pins that was right across the street.
Wednesday we slept in (pretty late actually, haha) and then we did some shopping. I do most of my shopping on Amazon and other online places, but sometimes it's really nice to just browse in person, with no kids. Especially if you can find places that we don't have in our area. So we did just that. We also walked around a park, went on the canal walk, before heading to our dinner reservation.
The amphitheater was just a quick walk from where we ate dinner. I thought it was going to rain but it ended up being the most beautiful night for an outdoor concert. We had great seats & Charlie put on such a good show. His voice is so so good. We ended up at the Sugar Factory afterwards for a dessert treat and then we crashed while watching The Office in our hotel room.
Thursday morning we got up, got a good breakfast, did a little bit more shopping, and then headed home. It was quick 2 1/2 day trip but it was full of time together which I truly love.
