Workout Gear

It's that time...Maddox is almost 10 months old and I NEED to workout. I've been saying "once he sleeps through the night". Well, we aren't there yet and I don't know when that'll be.  I need to get back to being healthy for my boys, and although I'm not getting as much sleep as I'd like-- I still need to get back to it.

So I've told myself now is the time to do it.  I'm starting to set an alarm and I'm going to try my HARDEST to get up in the morning to work out, shower + {hopefully} get some devotion time in before the boys wake up.  I realize this is a huge goal and it's super far from who I am.  I'm naturally a night owl and hate mornings.  I truly think my day would go a lot better if I got up, worked out, showered & was ready before the boys were up.

So I'm gonna try.  Keep me accountable???

In light of getting back in shape...I thought I'd share some favorite workout gear.  I lack in workout gear, but I have my eyes on some pieces.

I got a pair of Nike frees that are so comfortable and the color just tells me spring is on its way :)

I love working out in tight spandex-y (not a word???) pants.  Maybe it's because there's less jiggle? haha. #justsayin. Nate bought me THESE for Christmas!  They're super soft, high-waisted, and the ties at the bottom make them more fun. I figure if my clothes are fun, I'll have fun working out--maybe?

Most of my favorite workout gear comes from Old Navy.  They have lots to choose from, different patterns, and you can always find a sale! I consider my workout clothes to be a steal rather than a splurge, but I still like to look cute while doing it, even if I'm just doing it in my house! Old Navy has tons of spring workout gear and lots of it is on sale...and if it's not...here's the golden rule of Old Navy:

It will be on sale. Trust me. It will :)

Once I'm done nursing, I'll invest in some new sports bras.  Until then, we'll just roll with what I have! But I would love THIS as a cute option for when I'm ready to buy.  Or THIS! I mean, whoever decided to make sports bras cute, thank you!

For summer workouts
my favorite tank top is from Old Navy last year, but THIS one is really similar.  It's the perfect mix of being loose but still giving you shape!

When it's cold outside
If you're working out and then running errands...or want to give the illusion you worked out...then THIS is the perfect cute piece to to thrown on!  Or THIS to keep you warm on freezing February days in Indiana ;)

My plan right now is to doing some running on the treadmill or some workout DVDs I have.  I've heard lots of good things about youtube workout videos too...so maybe I'll hit those up too? We'll see!

Now, who wants to come and push me out of bed to actually work out in the morning?? :)

xox,

Naomi

Maternity Style

Ask + you shall receive, my sweet friends!

You ask me where I buy maternity clothes...well, let me break it down for you.

I'm not sure what I'm wearing that people love, but I DO try to stay trendy and feel put-together while I'm pregnant.

Let me say this one disclosure: I may look put together or have cute clothes on in pictures...but 99% of the time when I'm at home, I look like a disheveled mess. Nate can attest to this.  Pajamas are so comfortable and Jacoby doesn't judge {yet}, so the comfies are on when I'm at home.  This is also a disclaimer that if you stop by unannounced, no promises on fashionable attire ;)

I appreciate all the love on my maternity wardrobe! For those of you that have messaged me, I have tried to respond to all.  This blog post breaks it down a lot better and hopefully it helps encourage you to use some of the pieces in your closet that you already own...because honestly, maternity clothes are not cheap! Am I right? ;)

Psstt...Wanna borrow something? Let me know ;)
