Fall Recap

 WOO.... fall was a busy and good one!!! Fall always comes in hot with the craziness and this year was no exception. All 3 boys played soccer, so between the 3 teams there were a lot of practices & a lot of games. It's one of our very favorites to watch, and being outside is a bonus!

Thanks to another parent, we got one of Jacoby's goals on video!

& thanks to my nephew, we got some great pics of the boys & even a celebration after a goal for Maddox :)

We celebrated Jacoby turning 9!

On a rainy night when soccer was cancelled, we did one of our very favorite things...

pizza & movie night!

The boys school had a fall fest which is one of their FAVORITE school events. Can you tell they were having fun???

We visited Amazing Acres...

painted pumpkins! This is Jacoby's "silly" face, he's not actually mad hahaha. 

of course decorating Halloween cookies with grandma & the cousins...

& we even did some apple bobbing! 😀

My sisters & I went to a fun gala event and got to put on our fancy clothes :) 

A big highlight for Maddox was having his classroom pet, Uncle Stink, stay with us for a weekend. My animal loving boy could not have enjoyed it more!!

& we celebrated Halloween in the SNOW! A fun but cold night to "end" fall and it really set the mood for the holiday season!!!

All the fall things.

 I've got a quick little recap of our fall! 

We had a beautiful fall and did some of my very favorite things with my very favorite people. 

we visited one of our very favorite fall places, Amazing Acres for all the fall fun.

We had some of our very favorites over and they played wildly (6 boys!) & then they painted pumpkins!

Kendry had a field trip to the apple orchard and it was freezing cold & wet...but I still loved spending time with this sweet boy & his school friends

we carved pumpkins and the boys did not like the insides,

So basically Nate & I did all the work haha. 

we decorated Halloween cookies...

and did a little trunk or treating :) 

and we finished up a beautiful & fun fall soccer season!!

IT'S BEEN A FEW MONTHS!//Halloween 2022 a little late

 WOW. 

I'm not sure what happened to the time between my last post on November 15 (I think?) and now but time has flown!!! We had Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE, family in town for 2 weeks, Christmas break, etc, etc. I feel like there is so much to catch up on! I'm gonna start with Thanksgiving, then do a "holiday break/Christmas bucket list/Christmas post". We had a lot of incredible, fun things going on, so even though we were busy, it was full of all good things. So let's recap: first up, Halloween!

Halloween 2022

I don't even think I did a Halloween post, so I'm officially like 3 months late! I only grabbed a few pictures on Halloween but we spent 2 full hours out in the rain. We've reached the ages where the kids can run door to door and get their own candy {politely} while we just walk down the road with a drink in hand--it was a good time! I love Halloween from the dressing up, the friends & family, seeing our neighbors, and of course the candy! We had haystacks back here for when all the kids and cousins got done trick or treating! A perfect way to warm up & fill our bellies.

We had a football player, a dragon/dinosaur, and a ninja!

Maddox kindly asked me to be a "puppy" for Halloween...so I did just that!

See Kendry's hair? haha. The kids were absolutely soaked by the end but it was warm enough that they did.not.care. 

Forever...or until they refuse... with the matching Halloween jammies 💓

Fall Break 2022 {LA}

 We had a GREAT fall break in LA! Last year we had all kinds of travel issues getting there but this year everything was such a breeze...praise the Lord!! We stayed with Eric, Amanda, & Shia and the boys were so excited-- they're some of our very favorite people 😀 Jacoby had a countdown & couldn't wait. It's really fun to watch my kids be the big kids and take care of their little cousin!

traveling as they're getting older is becoming more fun :)

We landed at the airport, got our car & headed to In n Out for lunch :)

We visited the Kidspace Museum which was so incredible. If you get a chance to go, DO it! I can't capture in pictures just how cool it is. Outside museum with room to run & play- Maddox says it was his favorite thing we did :)

These 3 are just really special to my boys!

An afternoon of swimming in the rooftop pool.

A little bit of beach, pool, parks, sports, family time, outside museums, hikes and soaking up the sunshine and spending time with family, what more can you want?! 

Thankful for them hosting our family of 5, and we can't wait for our trip out next year!
