Back in June, Nate & I were able to spend a full kid-free week in the Northeast and we had so much fun. We both LOVE to travel and explore new places. Typically we try to go overseas but decided to stay in the US this trip. Nate suggested Cape Cod & Martha's Vineyard, and I of course had to add in Nantucket!! The trip felt like a lot of planning since we were going to 3 different locations and trying to get the ferry schedule, ubers, flights, car rides, etc all lined up took a bit of organization. BUT I got it and if we ever go again, it'd be a lot easier because I know what to expect!
I'm going to break up these vacation posts because otherwise it'll be extremely long.
So first up is Cape Cod!

We flew from Chicago to Boston, then took an Uber to our Cape Cod AirBnb.... how CUTE is it?!?
We were right by the water and went down to see.
We walked right down the road to dinner at a cute restaurant with delicious food.
The next day, we rented a car and went up to Provincetown.
Provincetown has lots of history and just a really fun vibe.
For lunch ,we stopped at a cute little restaurant in Provincetown that was recommended by many. I had some yummy tacos while Nate had a lobster roll that I even got brave enough to try!
After Provincetown, we made our way down the whole Cape just stopping off at tons of little beach towns and lighthouses. It was one of my favorite days!
We stopped at Truro Vineyards for some snacks & wine tasting. It was beautiful-- from the scenery, to the food & weather!
The beaches were rocky and full of shells and all kinds of washed up creatures...
like how cool?! I sent this photo to the boys because I knew they'd love it!

We enjoyed our time on Cape Cod so much, even more than I thought I would. It was stunning, so much to see, incredible food & the absolute BEST weather. We had a little bit of a plan but kind of planned our days there as we went and it was really fun to spontaneous, and less work because #nokids
Next up, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard & a quick day in Boston!
