I can't believe we are here again! Summer FLEW by. It was a really great summer, with a good mix of camps/activities & free time! We soaked it all in and are ready for a great school year!
On Wednesday, the boys started school. We woke up what felt like really early, had a good breakfast, got pictures, and were even a little early! WIN WIN.
Jacoby is off to 2nd grade and I'm confident he'll have a great year! He has lots of different kids in his class this year than last, but I know he has at least one buddy who he loves hanging out with. I'm excited to watch him continue to grow and I'm sure he'll make more friends (and see some of his favorites at recess).
Maddox is in 1st grade! He's our social butterfly and will surely makes lots of friends and learn a lot as well. His teacher is new to the school but I'm praying she's the perfect teacher for him. I think he's really looking forward to seeing his friends again...and recess!
I always get a little bummed out on the first day of school. I know they'll do great but it just reminds me of how fast they're growing up! Kendry doesn't start for a few more weeks, so between donuts & a trip to Hobby Lobby, together we made our day fun until we could pick up the big boys!
