First Day of School

 Jacoby started on a Wednesday and Maddox started on a Thursday (kindergarten always starts a day later), but I thought I'd just combine it for a first day of school post. 

Jacoby was excited to be back in school and to see some friends from last year. I think he felt more confident knowing that he'd see some familiar faces and know a few friends from last year. 

Maddox was nervous until he met his teacher (which is the same kindergarten teacher Jacoby had last year, which is SO nice because I love her). Once he met her, I think he felt more comfortable.  It also helped a lot that he could walk in with Jacoby- they walk in the same door and then they split, but he had his brother looking out for him and knowing exactly where to have Maddox go! 

I know it sounds so cliche but I cannot believe they're both in school all day. It feels like just yesterday that they were all home with me every day! It really makes me soak in the time with Kendry because I'm realizing how fast it truly does go. 

So far everything has gone smoothly, they are both enjoying their teachers, learning a lot, and making lots of new friends!! I'm so proud of them for how they've handled everything, and pray they have a WONDERFUL year 💗
