How far along? 30 Weeks...pic is from 29 1/2 weeks ;)
Total weight gain: 10 lbs.Maternity clothes? Yes, for the most part. I still wear a lot of sweaters/cardigans that aren't maternity, but pants and tanks are definitely maternity.
Stretch marks? None yet!
Sleep: Sleep has been a little off and on. The boys sleep really well in the bunks but Jacoby sleep talks (a lot!) and so some nights when he talks a lot, I get more interrupted sleep. Other than that, I can't complain! I'm feeling really comfortable sleeping on my sides so far which I'm thankful for. I'm sure in 10 more weeks I'll be thrilled to sleep on my tummy again though!
Best moment this week: We got to see Kendry on the ultrasound! The tech did a few shots of him in 3D and the first thing I said to Nate was "He looks so much like Maddox!" and Nate said "Looks like I get another one that looks just like me." hahahha.
Miss Anything? Drinks on girls night out!
Movement: Still a little roller and stretcher. He moves a lot but it's just so much more rolling and in such a calmer way than I remember the other 2. Not sure if that makes sense, but it does in my head!
Food cravings: Nothing really. I'm still digging my smoothie in the morning and it's always the same kind: Peanut Butter Banana! Y U M
Anything making you queasy or sick: No.
Anything making you queasy or sick: No.
Labor Signs: None
Symptoms: I've been feeling really good this week, and I'm thankful for that! I do not take it lightly that I feel this good at 30 weeks, and I really appreciate being able to run around with the boys as much as I do.

Gender: boy!
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy.

Looking forward to: I got Kendry sheets and a changing pad cover, so although the room still is Maddox's, it feels a little more like it's special for Kendry. I ordered him the cutest name sign and I am patiently impatiently waiting for his hat that I got him.
A random update...
We had an ultrasound on Wednesday (yesterday) because one of the doctors just wanted to get a check on him and sort of wanted to "double check" that his heart was looking good since Maddox's situation (even though Maddox's heart condition is not genetic). They said his heart looks great, he moved around a lot, and we got to see his sweet face in 3D! However, Dr. Weaver talked to us after the ultrasound because Kendry is measuring small. Stick with me here, the dates/numbers might get confusing but I really want to have it written down for my memory.
My original due date was June 8.
He was measuring BIG by 10 days when they did the ultrasound to check for twins.
So they changed my due date to May 31.
He has been measuring on track with that due date, but at our 20 week ultrasound he was measuring a little small...but nothing to be noted of.
On Wednesday, he was apparently measuring 10 days small.
So Dr. Weaver talked with us about it, and I explained the whole situation and reminded her that Jacoby was born 1 day early and was only 5 lb. 13 oz, and that Maddox was on his due date at 7 lb. 14 oz. While Maddox was an average baby, Jacoby was a small baby!
Dr. Weaver said that their cut-off for changing due dates is 10 days. So when Dr. Graber changed my due date to May 31, it was right on the cut-off and she could or could not have changed it.
If my due date is May 31, Kendry is measuring in the 2%.
If my due date is June 8 (original), he is measuring in the 13%.
Both are small, but the 2% causes more testing just to make sure he continues to grow. He IS growing, just at a slow rate...which is totally fine as long as he continues to grow, develop and "thrive". I asked Dr. Weaver if everything else looked fine, she said absolutely. She said that his head and entire body were all perfectly proportionate (if they aren't, that causes worry) and his heart and everything else look perfect. She said right now, he's just on the tiny side.
Her main thought was that he is probably just measuring at the original due date, and then on the small side. She also said that if he were at the 13% (original due date), they wouldn't require any testing and that he would just be on the small side...which they wouldn't be surprised by since I'm not a big person and since I've had small babies in the past.
However, since May 31 is technically my due date, they have to do BPP's every.single.week. You guys...every single week!!!
So the plan is for Dr. Weaver to chat with Dr. Graber about the due date and to do a couple BPP's and then another complete ultrasound in a few weeks, and then go from there. A BPP is like a little ultrasound they do where they just make sure baby is moving as it should, they check amniotic fluid levels, and they make sure he is doing "practice breathing".
Nate & I feel very confident that there isn't a worry and that Kendry is just small. I feel good, he moves a lot and Dr. Weaver encouraged us "please don't worry about this...he's just fine, we just want to make sure he continues to grow as needed".
So I'm not worrying, but I am praying that he continues to grow as needed. I told Nate maybe I should eat more Olive Garden breadsticks to fatten him up some? :) haha.
Anyways...ALL of this to say. We have NO IDEA what my due date is! Kendry is beautiful at 2 lbs. 8 oz right now and is moving/grooving and looks healthy but small.
So if you're confused by why Nate & I have weekly doctor appointments for us (which of course we can't take the boys to because it's an ultrasound...), or confused by when it's a 30 week update but really I don't know if it's 29...this is why.
The weird thing is both of my babies have been super timely. So I guess maybe we'll have a better idea of my true due date when Kendry actually arrives!
Such a long update, but I wanted it documented so I could look back on it if I ever wanted/needed to!
xox,
Naomi
