Happy Monday!! I'm in a little bit of a shock that it's already April 2 (Maddox's bday is 10 days away!) and that Easter is now over. It's still SO cold outside here and usually Easter is when it really starts to feel like spring. So if the weather would cooperate, that'd be great.
ANYWAYS.
Easter weekend was a mix of relaxing/doing nothing at all and spending time with family + friends. Friday night we celebrated Nate's brother's and dad's birthday, and counted it as our Easter celebration too.
We made these cute little Easter hats and they were hilarious and cute and we couldn't get all 4 kids to look the same place and smile for ANYTHING. Some days this is just the best you get :)
Saturday we had no plans. Nate + Jacoby got up and watched soccer, while Maddox + I slept in till 10am. It was glorious :)
Then we did a little birthday shopping for Maddox...he might have gotten to play with part of his gift! haha. My little cheeser đŸ˜‰Saturday evening we had friends over for the final four games. It was a chill evening and we got 4 kiddos to sleep upstairs so we could have adult conversations. ha!
Sunday we went to church and were on time. That just never happens! We hit up lunch, where the waitress was chasing my boys around the restaurant (why???) and Maddox tripped, fell + hit his head on a chair. He now has his scar from his stitches AND a blue goose egg on his head. I appreciate the waitress's attempt to be fun but there's a reason you don't want kids running around restaurants. #thewholerestaurantwatched #howdoyoutellthemtokindlystop #gotpicsbeforethefall
We came home and napped and then my family came over for dinner + an Easter egg hunt. It was fun and so many of the kids are at fun ages where they really the hunt and getting allllll the candy.
Nate & I ended the weekend on the couch watching Shameless. It's so good but so bad ;)
