Weekend Recap: Happy Fall Ya'll

This weekend was a breath of fresh air. You know when it's Sunday night and as you think back over the weekend you just think "that's exactly what I needed"? This past weekend was just what I needed.

Friday night was relaxing with dinner out as a family + one of my besties, Hannah, and her sweet little babe, Kizzy.  I love a friend who can come to dinner with your family and talk about everything from the dumb things we did in college, to serious chats about loving others like Christ, politics, and everything in between.  For the record, I h a t e politics, but sometimes when talking with friends who know you + your heart, it can be a good conversation.

Saturday morning, Nate got up early to help friends move while Coby & I slept in till 9:30 :)  We ended up meeting them at the new house for lunch and then came home for a nap.  In the evening we went over to  Eric + Amanda's house to watch the Notre Dame football game and eat pizza with a few friends.  Football and pizza on a Saturday night? Fall is here :)

Sunday we went to church and then went to Kercher's, an apple orchard about 45 minutes away that had a fall weekend hoopla-type-of-thing.  My mom asked us and then my sister and her family to come.  I'm so glad we did.  My sister has 3 boys (Leo, 9, Gio, 20 months, and Theo, 1 month). Gio + Coby are best of friends and run around playing with each other all the time.  I'm so thankful for family.

He loved peeking through this scarecrow face :) haha.

Pure joy riding in the wagon. Cousins + best friends.

And fall. I'm so thankful for fall.  This 60 degree weather is my absolute favorite and getting to spend time outside and with family is my idea of a perfect Sunday.

After the fall hoopla, we came back home and all of us napped. Praise Jesus for nap time :)

Sunday evening we ventured out for chips, dip + tacos...because we can't get enough!

Hope your weekend was just as wonderful.  Get out + enjoy the beautiful fall weather + activities :)

xox,

Naomi
