Friday night when Nate got home, we loaded up and drove down to Ft. Wayne. We stayed with his cousin, Becca & her husband, Matt. I can't wait for those two to move back up here. Ever have those couples that you just click with? I deem Matt & Becca one of those for us. Matt & Nate click so well and Becca & I click just as well {if not better, haha}. We stayed up till 2am chatting with them, and then spent most of Saturday with them. I had my first macaroon...where have I been??? so. dang. good.
We {obviously} brought Coby and Benny with us down there. Why not bring the whole crew, right?? Ramsey and Benny are good for each other. Benny thrives with other dogs and Ramsey wasn't any different. He was completely exhausted when we left.
Saturday night we spent with Ryan Gibson {better known as Gibby}, for his s u r p r i s e 30th birthday party. He had no idea, and it was so fun to suprise him. We had such a good time with him and his family and friends. Ryan is one of the best guy friends to Nate... I love him for that.
We then headed home Saturday night since we were getting a bad snow storm starting late Saturday night.
Sunday morning and afternoon was spent celebrating our nephew, Gio, turning O N E. This sweet boy is such a joy. He is one of the happiest babies I've known. Also one of the cutest!
I can't wait to watch Coby & Gio grow up together.
They'll end up going to the same school too, so they can have each other's backs :)
Thankful for friends who drive in the crazy snow to get together and have a good time.
Although the Bears are
Whew...what a whirlwind of a weekend. Still trying to catch up on housework, blogging, and getting myself back on the workout train.
I'd be fine with doing this weekend all over again...who's down?
