>> I'm no longer considered a young, college-aged kid<<
What?!?
I'm an adult. A married woman and a momma. Am I the only one just now having this realization?
sigh.
You know what though? I can tell you that my life is 100 million times better than I could have ever predicted it to be at 28. This birthday really showed me how blessed I am.
I woke up to these...
Flowers and donuts? My lovey knows me too well. (Side note: I couldn't get all of the flowers in the picture but they were probably the most beautiful flowers I've ever received) :)
Then I went to lunch with a couple of my girls - Steph, Ali & MJ- along with Coby. Ladies, why didn't we get a pic??
Steph and I decided we should probably go to the mall...so that we did!
Then in the evening, Nate & I went to Ruth's Chris>>my absolute favorite! Nate planned for his parents to watch Coby so we could have a relaxing dinner just the 2 of us. Once again, I failed at getting a picture.
We celebrated the next night, Thursday, at Soho with all of our friends, and then Sunday we had dinner with my family to celebrate. I celebrate my birthday week...only because I just can't fit it all in one day ;)
Flowers, donuts, presents, girlfriends, shopping, hubby, baby, and the best steak ever? I call that a perfect birthday.
28 may mean that I'm no longer college age {although many would argue I haven't been college age in awhile}, but I am so happy to be in the stage of life I am.
Beyond thankful for my life and my sweet boys... all 3 of them!
xox,
Naomi
