While there's still some fall left in the air (the trees are STUNNING right now), I am over here shifting into holiday mode. I am putting up Christmas decorations and planning out gifts, etc. I figured now was a great time to do a fall recap about all the fun fall things we did!!
We kicked off Labor Day weekend with a couples trip to Las Vegas :)
Nate & I celebrated 12 years of marriage with a day at the beach in September!
We celebrated Jacoby turning 7 with donuts, lots of football & basketball talk, and a friends party at SkyZone.
A few weeks later we celebrated with Nate surprising me by taking me to my favorite comedian's comedy show. Nate kept it a surprise (his name wasn't displayed anywhere) until he walked out on stage! It was such a fun surprise!!
we picked pumpkins, went on a hayride, launched apples, ate kettle corn, and did all the other fall things at Amazing Acres
we sent Kendry off to his first year of preschool
and then we had Kendry's first field trip and I got to join in :)
We squeezed in one more boat ride & a little fishing off the pier.
We spent lots of time outside from wrestling & backyard football to basketball, bike riding, and swings!
We did our annual Halloween cookie decorating with the cousins!
Nate took me to the LANY concert in Chicago. Favorite band with my favorite person.
It was one of my favorite nights ever.
The boys finished up their soccer seasons strong. I just LOVE watching them play.
For Halloween we dressed up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...
and I got the boys matching jammies...it's a tradition!
That wraps up fall and we are officially ready for the holiday season!
