Spring Break 2021

                                                                  Spring break 2021!!!

I was so happy that we could go on vacation..YAY!!! Last year's spring break in the middle of it was when the world started shutting down due to COVID, so it was nice to feel like we were getting to the other side of it. Obviously there were still regulations in place, but we had a great time and I'm so thankful for a beach vacation. Even though we all ended up with a tummy bug at some point- Maddox before, Kendry on the road, and Jacoby, Nate & I the first evening & day we were there...we were able to bounce back and enjoy the rest of our week after that. I'm so thankful it was short lived!

I made a video of our pictures and videos put together, but it's too large to put on here and I can't figure it out! It's over on my instagram but for here, I'll just post some of the pictures so that I have it documented and can look back and remember- even though the video is way better ;)

Swimming in the pool! The boys love to swim but not particularly in the ocean. So having a place that has a pool AND the beach is the name of our game.

Silly pictures...

Easter fell right over while we were gone, so I brought their Easter baskets with us. It was a good way to give them new toys to play with on vacation & have some extra special treats too :)

Jacoby wanted to play baseball, soccer & football on the beach all day. If you know him, you know that's not surprising  :)

this little boy loved the waves...

and Maddox enjoyed building sand castles.

our place had a lazy river also, and naturally instead of being "lazy", the boys were racing in their tubes...hahaha!

my babies 💓

my very favorite person.

We took a couple quick family pictures with my phone and a little tripod!! They actually turned out better than I expected and we have them framed in our house! It was nice because the kids weren't stressed out, it was super quick, and I didn't stress because it wasn't like I had paid anyone, so if it didn't work out...then it didn't. No big deal. I might do this ever year for vacation pictures :)

Playing on the beach, swimming in the pool, and just spending time together was so special to me. I hope the boys remember these trips forever. I know I will!

Naomi
