Halloween 2019

Halloween 2019 was a good one! 

I tried to get a few pictures before trick or treating since it was raining & cold...I told the boys they didn't even have to smile because of their masks, just to face me.  It was still a struggle :) 

It was WORK but I got a good one! 

and this boy was the sweetest lion EVER. 

Our old neighborhood was right next to my sisters so we all used to gather there because it was a big neighborhood.  Our new neighborhood is much smaller but all of the cousins still wanted to trick or treat together, so we decided to meet up at my other sister's neighborhood.  Nate & I really wanted to trick or treat at ours too, especially since we just moved in April- it's nice to see some of the neighbors! So we did BOTH.  

We set out right at 5 with just our little family.  We hit up the whole neighborhood and were the ONLY ones, so we got lots of loot because they were just dumping like 3-4 pieces of candy into each kids bag! haha. It was raining and cold...so we were drenched and got in the car to warm up and head to my sister's house. 

Once there, we did some more trick or treating (Kendry stayed inside with Nate because he was DONE).  It had gotten even colder and was starting to snow...so we didn't last long! My sister hid some candy and had the kids find it to help fill their buckets without freezing :) Then we had chili and let the kids run off their sugar high!

  As Jacoby & Maddox get bigger, they run out in front of us and do their thing...it didn't take long for Kendry to catch on either. He'd walk up, grab a piece of candy and put it in his bag HAHAH. I really wish I would have gotten it on camera but it was raining so hard that my gloves were soaked & I couldn't work my phone :( 

  It was a really fun and cold Halloween! Soaking up these moments with my little boys :) I can't wait to see what costumes the kids pick next year! 

Also. Is it too early to put up Christmas decorations? Asking for a friend
