Friday night Nate, Jacoby and I went to dinner at Chili's. We rarely go to chain restaurants, but it sounded good to me, so it's what we did.
After dinner, we went on a walk on the river walk downtown. It's nice that they have it lit so you can walk out there even when it's dark. Coby loves to ride in his stroller when we go for walks. We go for walks often after dinner--usually it's just around our neighborhood-- but it always feels good to walk off a little bit of dinner.
Coby went down for bed and Nate + I watched Good Will Hunting. I had never seen it before (shocker) but really wanted to. Nate assured me that it was a must-see. Even though I was tired, I made it through almost the entire movie...must have been a good one ;) haha.
Saturday was spent on Long Lake at a friend's lake house. I'm much more of a lake girl than a beach girl. I know most girls love the beach. I mean, I won't complain about it--but if you said lake house or beach house, I'd always pick lake house.
my sweet boy.
we were safe with him on the floatie, I promise :)
I'd prefer to be on a boat, tubing, jet skiing, + then cooking out, making smores + pudgie pies ALLLL night, than to have sand in more areas than I care to share ;) orrr have to be in salty water with sharks. If only I could move dolphins into the lakes ;)
anyways.
Sunday was spent relaxing around the house and not doing much. We planned on church but Coby slept till 10:30 (church starts at 10:45)! He never sleeps this long, but I'm sure he was worn out from the lake on Saturday, so we just let him sleep, because #neverwakeasleepingbaby
Dreamin about being back at the lake on this Monday...
Hope your weekend was just as fabulous! :)
xox,
Naomi
