Shopping for Baby: Fall Edition

August is the end of summer in my book.  September 1st begins fall, my favorite season!  As much as I love the awesome fall clothes for myself, shopping for a little one is just as much more fun.  Jacoby will be 1 in September (how??), and toddler's clothes are my favorite.  They always fit their tiny wobbly booties perfectly, and any baby toddling around in stylish clothes makes me want more babies. Just sayin.

I have collected a few of my favorite items for toddler boys for the fall.  A few I have gotten, a few are on my 'wish list' and a few I might have to work on my convincing speech to Nate as to why Coby HAS to have it :)

1. Fine-Knit Hooded Sweater: I plan on using this a lot over the fall.  It can be dressed up or down, and because #stripes :)

2. Hooded Sweatshirt: I love the weight of this.  Not too bulky, but thick enough to keep him warm on our chilly fall Indiana nights.

3. Raglan Sleeved Tee: Simple, long-sleeve shirts are perfect.  I'm a lover of all things stripes for Coby.  I'm not big on shirts that have sayings or lots of monsters, dinosaurs, etc.  So until he can argue with me and tell me he wants dines on his shirt, I'll stick with stripes ;)

4. Slim Jeans: Skinny jeans, because I can't not. Also, Coby is small all around (minus his Buddha belly), so skinny jeans tend to fit him the best!

5. Pullover Henley Hoodie: A little different than the stripes but I love it.  After looking at all of these, I am 99% sure Nate would wear every single one of these in his size :) Like father, like son.

1. Harems: I love to shop small, and Two Little Kings is one of my favorites.  I've been holding off on buying something for Jacoby, but I'm not sure I can hold off any longer.  They're gonna look so good on him once he starts walking. I'll make these his "I'm walking" present. That's totally a thing. Nate will agree....I think :)

2. High Tops: I showed these to Nate and he immediately said "I love those". Me too babe. They were immediately added to my shopping cart. I'm giddy with excitement to try them on him once they arrive.  I love that they are pretty neutral since they're all black, but also are a bit of a statement shoe and not too boring. You know, when you have boys--the accessories are limited, so shoes are a big thing around here.

3. Puffer Vest: I've been on the prowl for a good puffy vest for Jacoby. I've found a lot that I like.  I was actually looking for a mustardy-yellow one, but then found this one and thought it was great because it could go with everything.  Also, it's a great price and it has little leather details on the shoulders and pockets. I generally hate don't like Target for clothes for Jacoby.  I've been really disappointed with their selection of "baby boy" clothes.  I think every time I look, there are about 10 racks of baby girl clothes and maybe 2 racks of baby boy clothes. Give me a break! However, I am super impressed with their "toddler boy" clothes.  Although Coby isn't wearing 12 months YET, he will be soon, and I am thrilled to be able to find more things at Target for him.

4. Fleece Raglan: Once again, Two Little Kings. Based on this collage, you can see I'm a big fan of blacks/grays for boys.  I generally like color but after selecting these, realized that black/gray is a favorite of mine too. It's mainly the versatility I love.

Let me know what fall items you're loving for your little boys or girls! Happy Tuesday!

xox,

Naomi
