Wonderfully Vanilla: 3 Month Update

3 months old & changing daily!

::You weigh 11.8 lbs. I've been so impressed by how quickly you've grown. When you were born, you were only 5 lbs. 13 oz and so little...I felt like you were growing so quickly, but once you hit 8 lbs, I feel like you just kept growing so quickly! You've definitely caught up and are starting to get a few rolls on your legs! :)

::You have certainly developed a personality and it's so fun to watch! You are a content baby for the most part. You make people work really hard to get a smile out of you, unless it's your momma or daddy--then you'll smile all day long :)

::You look just like your daddy. Your personality is more him too. I'll take it--your daddy is the most wonderful man in the world, so if you're just like him, I'll consider myself a successful momma.

:: You've been reaching out and grabbing things and then holding on to them & it's so fun to watch you develop! Daddy gave you his spoon while we were at a chili cook-off and you held onto it for a few minutes...then dropped it in the dirt :) I figured you were just mad you didn't get any chili!

:: We went to Miracle Camp with your daddy's family the weekend before Christmas. We do it every year and it's always so fun. You seemed to enjoy yourself and you were {obviously} the center of attention. You were stuffed up the whole weekend and in the picture I think you can tell you weren't 100% yourself. You were a trooper and slept wonderful while we were there!

:: It's been unseasonably warm so we went on a walk...you love walks! Really you just love your carseat, as long as it is moving. If it's not moving, then you want O-U-T.

:: We got you a high chair for Christmas. You're not really quite ready for it yet, but we knew you'd need it some day soon. I put you in it and you seemed to enjoy the new view for a few minutes!

:: You HATE tummy time. However, every now and then I can get you to put up with it for a few minutes. You absolutely love looking at books. Your daddy & I read to you often and you just stare at the pages and take it all in.
