How far along? 36 weeks, 2 days
Total weight gain: 15 lbs!Maternity clothes? Yes…but I can't wait to be able to wear my non-maternity fall wardrobe (as long as it actually fits!)
Stretch marks? No, not yet. I can't believe I've escaped them so far :)
Sleep: Has been pretty good. Nate & I were in Chicago last weekend and we slept in one of the most comfortable beds everrrr. I love our bed, but that bed was awesome. I think Nate appreciate that it was a king since I sometimes hog our queen bed with all the pillows I use right now!
Best moment this week: Spending labor day weekend on a "baby moon" with Nate. I adore him and spending a few days straight with him is irreplaceable.
Miss Anything? Bending over like a normal person :) I still miss sleeping on my stomach but I know I'll be able to sleep on it soon enough!!!
Movement: Still really strong & all the time. The other day he kicked me so hard right in my ribs that it kind of took my breath away. I was at dinner with Nate and I said "ow!" Nate looked at me and said…
"Can we make a deal that you don't make just random "ow" noises without prefacing that all is ok and that Jacoby is just kicking you? Otherwise I'll think you're going into labor"
...I guess we are close enough that I should be careful with my words and reactions :) haha!
Food cravings: nothing in particular!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Gender: My baby boyyy!
Labor Signs: Nothing yet, although I read on my pregnancy app that he could "drop" any time from here on out--so I know that I still have time, but that it could also be any time! Such a crazy thought.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks and just generally getting tired pretty easily. I'm usually wiped just after mowing the yard :)
Belly Button in or out? Out…but it's not super obvious in clothes yet!
Wedding rings on or off? On. I'm really hoping they can stay on the entire time.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, oh so happy! I can't wait to meet you, Jacoby Andrew!
Looking forward to: Finishing up the last touches of the nursery, getting last minute things together for the hospital and also…getting to hold our baby! :)
xox,
Naomi
You look amazing! And be patient with your body after Jacoby comes because your clothes aren't going to fit. Your tops probably will, but alittle tight with your growing chest, but your pants will take some time. Your hips have spread and will take time to shrink back down. As did your ribs. I ended up buying a pair of pants 1 size up from my normal so I could wear normal pants instead of maternity. Just be ready and not shocked :) You'll get back to your normal size in no time!
