This weekend was so good. SO good.  Although we are staying in this stinky little hotel room, we are trying to make the most of it…& the best way to do that is to be out & about, away from this hotel room  :)
On Friday night, we ate dinner & then headed out into the farmland of Tennessee to a pumpkin farm.  To say this was a pumpkin farm is just not giving it enough credit.  This place was HUGE and had SO many things to do (although a lot of it was closed since we got there after dark…).  They had pumpkins, a little fudge shop, a "jumping pillow", a tractor ride with lots of Halloween lights, and even a haunted house.
Obviously…I was NOT stepping foot in the haunted house. never. ever. I was scared looking at it…true story.
Giving you a good photo dump of pics from this weekend of fun…
Goodness.gracious. I couldn't even move these huge {crazy huge} pumpkins.
This seemed like the best place for Nate to take a picture :) {not that he drinks moonshine…it's just that  it was historically interesting to him)
Not the best picture I've ever taken…but it shows what the tractor ride with lights was like :)
Tons & tons of corn to play in. My germaphobe of a husband even got in it for a little bit…that's a big deal for him!
So happy to spend my fun weekends with this sweet thing.
On Saturday, my work went to this {giant} pet adoption event…It was crazy.  Over 37 shelters from around the Nashville area were there.  They adopted out 11 dogs in the first 11 minutes- craziness! Overall there were around 160 dog adoptions and 130 cat adoptions…talk about a FUN day.  I love these events.  It does so much good for all of these animals needing homes.  I get to see so many different dogs & talk to so many wonderful people…it's one of my favorite things about my job.  It can definitely be exhausting though…for both the workers & the pets!  This is the only picture I got from the entire day:
Obviously if I only took one picture that day, this wasn't a bad one to take! :)
Sunday was a much more relaxed day…which I am oh so thankful for.
Talk about a fun weekend…Normally, I would be looking forward to the next weekend.
However, this is not the case at the moment.  I am waiting for 8pm tomorrow NIGHT! Why?!?…because of this:
THIS. THIS. THIS. Can't even get over my excitement to see him in concert tomorrow night.  We have floor seats. He'll probably come down the rows & sing directly to me…right? Right? It only seems fair that he does. I've said my prayers & I have my fingers crossed ;)
