{4 YEARS}

On Thursday, September 19, Nate and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary.  I can't believe how quick time has flown.  I find it crazy that although our relationship is not perfect, our marriage is so solid, deep, loving, and perfect for US to this day.  I still feel like a newlywed and ask Nate often if we are still considered to be "newlyweds"...He says we are what we feel like...smart man, right??? :)

So here we are, 4 years later...still newlyweds & incredibly BLESSED.  I find myself so thankful for the way God has led us & guided us over these years, and I know that he will continue to do so.

A little note to myself: When times get hard {and they will, I'm sure...}, know that God made Nate so perfectly for you.  Don't ever forget that or abuse that.

Best piece of advice to myself after 4 years of wedded bliss: Be appreciative and vocalize your thankfulness to Nate, it's the way to his heart!

Best piece of wedding advice I ever got:  Len, Nate's uncle who married us, told me to be "Nate's armor".  My job as his wife is to protect him in all ways, to support him and to build him up & make him feel safe in every aspect.   I LOVE this & I have made it my goal. I pray he always knows & will always feel that I have his back and am his biggest cheerleader.  He is the one that I would give my everything to protect.

I love you Nate....You're my hero.  Thank you for making this thing called marriage the BEST decision of my life, over & over again.  I love you as long as the shoreline of this beach.
