We've Got a Name!!!

Nate & I had a list of girls names and boys names, and after finding out baby Carpenter is a boy…we finally narrowed it down to one name :) We used the name around our house for a week, to make sure that it "fit" and it was the exact name we wanted. Sure enough, it's the perfect name for our baby boy!


We would like to introduce to you...

                                                                      Jacoby Andrew

This name has a lot of meaning to us.  "Jacob" was my dad's middle name, and "Andrew" is Nate's dad's name.  We decided awhile ago when we were thinking of names that we wanted all the middle names of our children to have family names, but we were stoked when we found a name that could honor both of our dads! Nate heard the name Jacoby and told me about it almost 2 years ago, and since then it has been at the top of our list.  We LOVE the name, and plan on calling him "Coby" for short!

We told our families this weekend for Mother's Day, and it was so fun to hear everyone's reactions.  We know it's a different name, so we wondered what people would think. So far, the reaction has been positive :) I know everyone has opinions on names regardless of what you name your child, but Nate & I are so excited to have a name we love for a baby we love so much already!!!

Knowing our baby is a BOY and having the name picked out has made this all start to seem even more real, and I love that! Can't wait to meet this cutie!
