A couple months ago, Beeca {who is Nate's cousin but also a dear friend of mine} and her husband Matt, asked Nate & I if we would want to do a long weekend away somewhere in May. Once we were able to get the time off for work, we were all on board. We decided to go up to Saugatuck, MI and enjoy a relaxing weekend.
We rented a house about 5 minutes from downtown and spent our days relaxing, doing lots of shopping, walking by the lake, and eating lots of good food. We found ourselves staying up late just talking and having really good-for-your-soul talks. It's a super dog-friendly town, which made me so happy to see lots of dogs, but also made me miss Wiley. There were so many good homemade dog treats that I wanted to buy him :) I LOVE a good vacation where you are busy doing things during the day, but the evenings are full of good food and great conversation.
I am the only one that took any pics the entire weekend…and I still don't have a ton :( I'm working on my New Year's Resolution of taking more pics!
