Life Again As Hoosiers

I've been kinda slacking on my blogging lately and actually my excuses aren't that bad. I am in the process of looking for a job, so not being employed- you would think I'd have lots of time on my hands! It turns out though…being back home gives me lots of people to see & lots of things to do, which is WONDERFUL. {hanging out with friends & family is my excuse…see, it's not really that bad of an excuse}

I've been spending my days hanging out with friends & family…and I love it! I've gone shopping with my best friend, Steph, multiple times…had lunch meetings with multiple other friends & just had 2 "goodbye" parties for one of my best friends, Lisa, who is moving back to Ohio :( Don't gooooo!

Lisa- girllll you'll definitely be missed!  So glad we got to go out with a bang playing your favorite, Cards Against Humanity :) Come back to see me soon..I'll have a bedroom just for YOU.

I also got to celebrate Steph graduating from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at IUSB.  So proud of her for all the hard work :) I've gotta brag cuz the girl is going to be the best NP out there!

Also, Nate & I have Chicago Bulls seasons tickets, so we go to a lot of games! Unfortunately, they're pretty terrible this year {the year we get season tickets, of course}…but the games are still fun regardless. I have a crush on the mascot, Benny the Bull…he's got moves for dayssss.

Also, Nate & I have bought a house :) We have inspections at the end of this month and if all goes well, we will be closing on January 24! I love living with my in-laws, but I can't wait to finally be settled into a house we love & a place we plan on raising a family in some day.  Life is good these days!
