Life Lately

After all the holiday crazy, we've just been soaking up slower winter days in our normal routine... 

Here's a little bit of what we've been doing.

We spent the first Friday on January downtown South Bend.  We ate dinner downtown, then watched fireworks, and then played at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe.  It was one of my favorite evenings as just us 5.

Maddox got Buzz for Christmas (actually he got 2, so now we have Buzz and Woody and he's thrilled).  Buzz goes everywhere with us, and even gets a seat at Costco 😉

The weather had been beautiful and 45ish degrees, which is WARM for northern Indiana...we took advantage and went on walks and rode bikes.  Even with a bent tire on Maddox's trike haha. 

Then we finally got some snow!

Kendry has mastered this little smirk when looking at me.  He's gonna get just about anything he asks for.  #sorrynotsorry

We have transitioned Jacoby out of naps (minus the mandatory Sunday nap!) and he has quiet time.  Most of the time we have him play independently + quietly with books, blocks, legos, coloring, etc.  But this day after an hour of playing by himself, he came and snuggled with me.  I never thought I'd love him not napping but I kinda DO...most days!

Just a little bit of every day life with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 7 month old 💓
