2018, what a ride!!!
Here's a look back on the year...
January
We started off with both of the boys taking gymnastics...
and we took Jacoby to a Bulls game...hahaha I can't stop laughing at his smile full of skittles!
and we found out baby carp #3 is a BOY!

February
The boys got bunk beds and started sharing a room 😊
We went to Shedd aquarium in Chicago and this was really the only family picture we took. Jacoby still talks about the aquarium!
March
and we took one last fun family trip just the 4 of us to San Antonio, TX.
The 2 big boys and I went shopping for a few things for baby K.
Maddox started out the month by getting 5 stitches in his forehead :( He bounced back quickly and didn't skip a beat.
I embraced being pregnant for the last time. I LOVE being pregnant.

April
In April we celebrated Maddox turning 2!!!
We celebrated Easter with family...
and took cute pictures in cute hats ;) HA!
May
May was alllll about our sweetest little babe, Kendry Joshua making his appearance on May 19th, which would have been my Grandma Mabel's 100th birthday. He's special just like her 💓
soaking it all in...
hot baby daddy ;)
June
We spent some time in the pool and Kendry took a quick little toe dip :)
and we went to a South Bend Cubs game where I had more sweat on my chest than I ever knew possible. It was SO hot and add a sleeping baby on my chest... I was drenched :) haha.
The boys played a lot outside while I sat on the patio and snuggled this little peach.
July
We cheered Brazil on at the World Cup...you know, since USA didn't make it!
Celebrating the 4th of July as a family of 5.
Thanks to my mom, the boys got the cutest shirts and I had to take a photo. This will forever be one of my favorite pictures. Just LOOK at Kendry's face and his arm pose!!! 😍
We spent summer days at the park, pool, and water park!
Of course we had to hit up the fair...
and as always, we celebrated daddy's birthday at the beach!
We went to a Liverpool soccer game with some friends and it was super hot but definitely one of my favorite things we did this year!
(Maybe not as fun for our friends who are fans of the team that lost to Liverpool haha!)
...and more pool time with my girls!
August
Jacoby started soccer,
we took our first road trip as a family of 5 to Great Wolf Lodge,
Kendry took lots of sweet naps,
we visited Lincoln Park Zoo for Cici's birthday,
and we visited the Ft. Wayne Zoo with friends!
We showed Hannah & Kizzy the fun that can be had at Dutch Creek Animal Farm!
and our niece, Emerson, was born!
I mean, look at these cousins :)
September
September was abnormally warm so we spent more time outside at the park and pool!
We watched a little soccer...
spent time at the zoo (can you tell we love zoos?!)
Jacoby started preschool!!! He did so well and LOVES it.
Maddox realized that he gets more mama time when Jacoby is at preschool...
and Kendry just kept getting cuter!
September was abnormally warm so we spent more time outside at the park and pool!
and our big boy Jacoby turned 4!
October
October finished out the soccer season
and we did all the fall things!
We ended October by celebrating Halloween with family and friends.
November
...we got a few family picures snapped by the wonderful Raina...
Kendry joined us at the table
and we celebrated Thanksgiving together, but this is the best pic I got!
We got flu shots and the big boys didn't cry at all. Mom win-- suckers for after the shot!
December
We hit up Chicago during December to shop, eat and look at all the Christmas lights...
Baby Kendry got to experience the beauty of the Christmas season..
We wore matching jammies, because mama can't help herself ;)
And, of course, we visited Santa!
We celebrated Christ's birth with a Christmas Eve church service, dinner and then Christmas with family.
We ended the year on New Years' Eve with a party at a friends house, until Maddox started not feeling well. Nate put Maddox to bed and then I brought J & K home, got them to bed with about 10 minutes to spare to watch the ball drop and smooch my man.
Thank you 2018 for the beautiful memories.
2019, you've got a lot to live up to and I can't wait for all that's in store!
xox,
Naomi
