We had such an awesome weekend! I love good weekends full of time spent with my family of 4!
Sunday was Father's Day and I did my best to make sure that Nate felt super special. He is a one of a kind daddy and the BEST to our boys. I'm so thankful for his hard work + his dedication to our family. He makes me the proudest wife on the daily.
We started out the day with a breakfast of eggs + bacon. I never { and I mean never} make breakfast for Nate. I'm just not a morning person and generally roll out of bed and pour myself a bowl of cereal to lazily eat as I wake up. I'm also not a fan of breakfast foods...unless they consist of Nutella cream cheese stuffed French toast. SO, I made Nate + Jacoby eggs and bacon while I ate my cereal :) They both loved a good fresh breakfast!
Then we slowly got ourselves ready and headed to the park where we went on a walk, played on the playground, ate a picnic lunch and then played in the splash pad. This was followed by naps for everyone (minus me, it's Father's Day! He deserves the weekend nap sesh!). We then had a family wedding in the evening, followed by bed time for the boys and a couple episodes of Friday Night Lights for Nate & I...because I CAN'T STOP WATCHING!
So thankful for a good weekend and a whole day to celebrate the most incredible daddy and the one who chose ME to make + raise babies with. I love watching you with our boys and some day they'll know how lucky they are. The way I see you put your whole heart and soul into raising these babes consistently reminds me that marrying you was the best decision of my life.
I love you Nate.
