Thanksgiving 2020

Thanksgiving this year was way different, like just about everything in 2020!

We usually spend most of the weekend with our families, but this year we spent it at home just the 5 of us.  It was really relaxing and fun.  We spent lots of time playing games, watching Christmas movies, going on walks & hikes & just soaking up family time.  I don't remember a time that we have ever spent that much time just the 5 of us over a holiday weekend.  It was different and we missed family SO much, but it was also really special to just have lots of time together here at home.  Nate & I made up a big feast, minus the turkey because we both refuse to mess with whatever it is that is inside of the turkey :)

I hardly took any pictures because we were busy just "being"...but here are a few.

We ended our weekend with one of my favorite traditions- North Pole Breakfast. I'll post photos of that later.  In a year that's been weird and unpredictable, I'm thankful for the constant that is my family of 5. They are my biggest blessings and having extra time with them this year has been a bright spot in 2020!

We are ready for the Christmas season and everything it brings...especially remembering the REAL reason why we celebrate. JESUS.

xox,

Naomi
