Kendry {11 Months}

11 months... my days of having a "baby" in the house are quickly coming to an end.

Kendry Pie! Sweet as can be.

Eat

You're still all breastfed and you make it so quick & easy.  You'll take a bottle for someone if you need to, but you rarely get one because I'm almost always with you :) 

You LOVE real food.  LOVE it.  I think you're going to be the one that is going to be hard to keep full as you get older.  You shovel food into your mouth by the handful and you love just about any kind of food...although mac & cheese or anything with peanut butter is your favorite. And veggie straws.  Those have been your jam for a long time. 

Sleep

You sleep 12 hours and it's wonderful.  Every now & then you'll wake up around 7am to nurse and then you'll go back to sleep until 9 or so...but usually you sleep 8:30-8:30ish. 

You still take 2 naps.  A morning nap that's about 1 hr and an afternoon nap that's about 2-3 hours.

You even slept all night while we were on vacation!  You make it easy.

Play

You're all over the place now and have just recently started crawling on your hands & knees (although you still prefer your tummy crawling if you need to get somewhere fast).  You pull yourself up on chairs, couches, or just about anything you can get your hands on.  You pulled yourself up in your crib, so we lowered it, and you go from sitting to crawling, back to sitting up.  You WANT to walk around furniture but haven't gotten brave enough... but I think you'll get there soon!

You LOVE it when your brothers talk and play with you in the car.  They can get you laughing so hard by playing peek-a-boo or spitting spit bubbles at you, or any other silly thing they can think of.  It's one of my favorite sounds...the 3 of you laughing at each other in the car.

You think Benny is fascinating and when he plays fetch you smile at him.  We're working on not hitting him or grabbing him though!

You still love your paci 😊

You have your bottom two teeth and just this past week (so technically over 11 months old), your 4 front teeth popped through.  You kept sleeping well because of it but they really got to you during the day. 

You love your mama and say "mama mama" alllll day long.  I love it.  If I walk out of the room, you'll crawl and follow me and then say "mama mama"...it's so cute! You also say "dada".  You said "dada" first but you say "mama" MORE! hahaha. 

You also smack your lips if you want more food and it's hilarious.

You give high fives, wave hi, give kisses, and clap your hands.

You love the bath (always have), and splash like crazy!

Oh how sweet you make our life.  You bring so much joy and the sweetest of smiles.  You are tough and don't let much bother you.  I love that you are the best snuggler! I pick you up and you just give me such a tight squeeze are the neck and love to give big kisses.  We always ask you to clap your hands and you do it with the biggest smile on your face.  We are all so smitten with your calm and sweet personality...with a little kick of spice to keep up with your bros.  I love you Kendry Joshua..forever my baby!
