Baby #3 Gender Reveal

On Friday night we had a little gender reveal party for baby #3.  We wanted to keep it casual and fun, but were really excited to see whether a boy or girl would be the final piece in our family.

I looked through a TON of different ideas on Pinterest but ultimately it was cold and rainy, and we were inside at restaurant...so it couldn't be anything messy or outside! We decided to get cupcakes filled with either blue/pink and have everyone bite into them at the same time.

We had our ultrasound on Friday morning and first things first...baby was moving, healthy + measuring right on track (technically a little small but since they moved my due date UP from June 8 to May 31st...I'm not surprised).  There's always a little bit of nerves that hit during the ultrasound just to hear that baby looks healthy and is doing great.

Once we knew that...it was all the excitement for the gender.  The ultrasound tech wrote the gender on a picture, put it in a sealed envelope and I dropped it off at the bakery.  No one knew besides the tech and the baker :)

I picked up the cupcakes before we headed to dinner.

We decided to have dinner first before the cupcakes or else all the little kids wouldn't eat ;)

After dinner we gave everyone a cupcake, facetimed a few family members that couldn't be there and here's how it went down.....

Baby BOY #3

I feel like so many were rooting for a girl, but honestly I know that God has made this little baby the PERFECT addition to our family, and so it didn't matter to me at all.  Is it a little weird to think of never having a daughter and all the things that come with that? Of course.  But MAN, I am so lucky to be the mama that raises these 3 sweet boys! God must think we are doing something right with the older 2 boys! haha.

I hear that boys always have a deep love for their mama...

and I told Nate...that just means I'll always be the queen of the house 😉

Oh baby boy, how loved and adored you are already!!! You're sure to have a little crazy bone to keep up with your brothers, and goodness I can't wait to see the bond you'll have with them! Jacoby wanted another brother and so he is thrilled. I'll take the mark of boy mama with pride.  How blessed am I?!?

Now if we could only come up with a name...

xox,

Naomi
