Life Lately

Happy Thursday! I am hosting a friends birthday party tonight and then Friendsgiving with around 40 people on Saturday.  So while I'm getting prepped for all that, I just wanted to do a quick little life lately catch up :) 

Maddox is so hard to get to smile in pictures. He smiles a lot, but as soon as I get the camera out, this is what he does. Blank stare. haha. 

My big boy praying for trucks, pumpkins, and popsicles. And everyone said Amen 😉

They crawled up in the rocker together and Jacoby told me "Mommy, I rock my bubba to sleep".  If ONLY ;) 

Playing with friends is a favorite of ours! 

The weather has been chilly but we still bundle up and go outside to play.  They could care less how cold it is now that I got them gloves! 

We had a game night with friends last weekend (with 4 babies sleeping upstairs!) and it was so fun. 

We went to Nate's parents' house last weekend and we were looking at baby pictures of Nate.  I knew Maddox looked like Nate but seriously? They're TWINS.  Besides how much better quality pics are nowadays, I'm not sure many people could tell a difference.  Maddox, you're gonna grow up to be quite a good lookin boy :) 

I took Jacoby to his first dentist appointment and he did great! He loved the suction thing :) The hygienist would squirt water in his mouth, then suck it out....when she first did it, she just said "WHAT???" to joke with him.  So then she did it multiple times after that and he said "WHAT???" after every time.  She was in tears from laughter. I told her, welcome to my life.  He's gonna be the class clown! I love how much she made him LOVE his visit, and at the end he got a "prize".  We put a coin in the toy dispenser and he got a blue sticky gecko--you know those things that stick on the wall? He's obsessed and has slept with it every nap and every night #winning

Never a dull moment. 

Jacoby knows it's difficult to get Maddox to smile, so he kinda forced him to and it actually made him smile :) Big brother help! 

That's a little bit of life lately.
