How far along? 37 weeks + 3 days. Maddox is apparently about the size of a large cantaloupe :)
Total weight gain: Still 12 lbs. Not sure how I'm escaping more than this so far...but I won't complain!Maternity clothes? Yes + no. Today I don't have on anything maternity except for the tank top I'm wearing, so it's nice to help with giving me more of a wardrobe!
Stretch Marks? None yet
Sleep: Sleep continues to be ok. I toss and turn a lot because laying in one position for too long isn't comfortable. Other than that though, I fall asleep easily and stay asleep pretty well too- minus the one quick potty break at about 5am ;)
Best moment this week: At the doctor today we got to hear his heartbeat, which of course we hear every appointment, but it never gets old to me! Also...my friend, Ali, who was due 1 day before me had her sweet little boy last Sunday. I can't WAIT to meet him and it also makes me a little jealous that she gets to snuggle her little boy already! Maddox has a little bit of cooking time left, but Ali having Jonas here just makes me that much more excited!
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my tummy + no back pain. It'll be over soon though :)
Movement: Crazy train in my belly. Even my doctor said "you should get that on video...he's trying to get out through your belly" haha :)
Food cravings: Anything + everything. I get really full at meal times pretty quickly, so I don't eat a lot but I do eat often!
Gender: All boy!
Labor Signs: Braxton Hicks + I've started to feel a little more pressure down below...mainly if we go on an evening walk or if I've done a lot of squatting up/down during the day.
Symptoms: Just occasional heartburn + feeling tired :)
Belly Button In or Out? Out!
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!!!
Looking forward to: Seeing his sweet little face for the first time!!! I wonder if he'll look like Jacoby or not, more/less hair, bigger/how much bigger, etc. I feel ready but also am prepared for him to stay put for a few more weeks. I'm confident he'll come right when he is ready!
xox,
Naomi
