Life Lately

Throughout my pregnancy with Jacoby I did weekly updates, and since then I've done monthly updates for him.  Nate asked me awhile ago how long I was going to do that, not because he wanted me to stop but rather he just didn't know what my plan was.  I loved doing them and I love being able to look back and remember the changes he went through, the struggles, the excitement, the funny stories, etc.  I decided 1 year was my mark.  I want to be fair to all of my kids and so it's something I plan on doing for each child, but not something I foresee being able to keep up with past a year once we have a couple of crazies running around :)

Instead, I have decided to do a series of "life lately" posts randomly.  This is where I can talk about what we have been up to lately, post pictures and talk about what life is like.  I think this is a good place for me to have these little updates and talk about the things Jacoby is doing, along with our other babies as they arrive + grow up :) I started this blog for me to be able to write out my life, share our stories, and a lot of times I use it as my scrapbook for my family. I know already that this blog has been so fun to look back on and I can't wait till it's been 10+ years and re-living these memories through this blog of mine.

So here's a little life lately...

We've had beautiful weather (minus the snow storm a couple weekends ago), so we have been trying to be outside as much as possible! Gotta make the best of it :)

This kid with his spunky attitude, goofy giggles, friendly smiles + fire-y sense of humor. After eating lunch at the mall one afternoon, a lady who had been watching him (as he giggled, smiled + waved to everyone passing by, along with shoveling his fried rice into his bib BEFORE putting it into his mouth...) came up to me and said "that kid has got the BEST personality! He is going to go far in life!"

My heart swelled up with pride. Nothing like a stranger to remind you of what you already know :) God has big things in store for him!

We've spent a few too many hours at the car shop!
As well as switching out of bottles completely + into zippy cups. #sobig
Spending lots of time with his cousin Gio. They're best buddies :)

Also spending time with his beyond adorable friend, Mila :)

 Like I said...personality. He's got enough to share ;)

Time with GREAT Grandma & Grandpa!

We are working on the whole "less aggressive kissing", but can you blame him? She's too cute, he couldn't control himself...haha. You go 90, she'll go 10. 90/10 sweet boy.

xox,

Naomi
