Halloween 2020 was different than most years (as is just about everything in 2020). We were still able to trick or treat, but we did our best to be safe and use all the COVID precautions!
We were able to trick or treat with all of us wearing masks. Our new neighborhood did a great job of having (most) people set out tables with candy, or just buckets, or little contraptions for the kids to get candy. I had the boys not eat anything while we trick or treated...keeping their hands out of their mouths! They did a great job.
I love my ninja, spiderman, and shark (or as Kendry calls himself... baby shark do doo do do do doo)! haha.
We always do a Halloween cookie decorating night with my mom & sisters. We get all kinds of candy and the kids fill cookies with candy, while eating a ton of candy too. They have so much fun and it's been one of my favorite traditions.
Halloween just keeps getting more fun as the kids get older. They went up to the houses by themselves and this year the weather was BEAUTIFUL. After last year's wet snow during trick or treating, I was so happy for sunshine and good temps!
I officially took down all the Halloween decor and my house is probably more Christmas-y than most people prefer :)
Thankful for a safe & healthy Halloween for me and my family. I just treasure these years when my kids love to dress up and hang out with me while trick or treating...and they even graciously share their candy with me!
