Labor Day Weekend 2020

This is a late post...but I just got to it :) We are hitting our groove as far as regular schooling, soccer practices & games, doing fall & end of summer things...etc. I wanted to do just a quick little recap on our Labor Day weekend just because it was full of fun and lots of memories.

We started out the weekend with camping at Potato Creek. We've never taken our boys camping and it's not really our "thing", especially in a tent, but Eric & Amanda asked us to go and we obliged... after we had to borrow all the things from people! It was just for one night but the boys had a blast, the weather was PERFECT, and we didn't sleep too terribly since we had air mattresses for all 5 of us. I think Eric & Amanda's tent slept a little worse than we did :)

After packing up Saturday late morning and driving home, we cleaned up and then dropped the boys off so we could go to an adult only engagement and party.

It was super fun to get a little dressed up for a relaxing evening to celebrate our friends and have tacos & margaritas in the backyard. I can't tell you how grateful I feel for our group of friends...we all became friends in college and have continued to be each other's support for well over 10 years. Good, true, and loyal friends can be hard to come by, so I'm thankful.

Kendry couldn't quite hang ;)

Sunday we spent relaxing at the pool with family. Monday we were at the pool again and ended Labor Day weekend with a boat ride. I'm not sure you can end a weekend better than with a boat ride!

It was a fun weekend full of friends, family, and lots of "things" but it felt like a really good weekend to end summer and welcome in fall.

Here's to FALLL! Cooler weather, leaves, pumpkin & apple everything, sweaters, cozy movies, bonfires, must I go on? I'm here for it all!

xox,

Naomi
