Life Lately

I'm totally due for a "life lately" post...considering it's been almost 3 months since I've blogged! While I don't feel like we've been particularly BUSY, it just feels like it's been put on the back burner. Now that I have a bit more down time, I can have more time to write things out and play catch up.

A little look at what we've been up to!

Target runs...full cart full heart!

This little one still loves naps. He gets it from me!

The boys LOVE bowling, so we went bowling & there's an arcade there too.  A fun Friday night out!

We enjoyed playing in the snow. Lots of work getting all the snow clothes on :)

We celebrated Gio turning the big 6 at a rollerskating party!

Daddy & Papa took the big boys to the Harlem Globetrotters game. The boys are obsessed with basketball :)

We celebrated Valentine's Day with matching shirts...because I know there will be day when they refuse. This was not that day haha.

Valentine's Day parties at school were fun and crazy too!

We met up some friends at the bounce house so the kids could jump out their crazies...

and took a picture in the snow before getting a car stuck in the snow :) HAHA.

Later that evening we watched Harper & Ariah while their parents went to a Purdue footbball game (YUCK. Boo Purdue...GO IU!)

My sweet friend, Tricia, invited the boys and I to the mommy/son dance.  We weren't able to go last year but this year we did, and it was so FUN.

One of my favorite parts of the night was this bank handing out light up bouncy balls.  The little boys were throwing them everywhere, and not a single mom even flinched once!!! HAHA.

Tricia- I love you...thanks for just "getting me". xox

Us "daughter-in-laws" gave our MIL the gift of going to Chicago and going to a "beauty bar" type of place.  We met up in Chicago, grabbed lunch & drinks, and then got to do our own facial together.  It was something I've never done but would love to do again!

For my birthday, I asked for dinner out with Nate and then we went to a new arcade bar downtown.  It was really fun.  I whooped Nate on Mario Kart and he whooped me on NBA Jam. Talk about a trip down memory lane! So many old school video games :)

The weather has been slooowwwlllyyy warming up, so we take advantage of being outside when we can. We love going on walks and the boys love to play none other than basketball (and sometimes baseball) outside!

Right before vacation, we had a girls brunch & mani/pedi date and it was good for my soul.  Us girls laugh because we see each other often (except for during this whole Corona virus thing...), but we rarely get uninterrupted talk because we are always with our kids!  So a Saturday morning brunch and nail time was perfect.

Speaking of our vacation...I'll make a different post on that entirely.  I'm trying to get back to blogging, so I'll be sure to put it all up soon.

That's been a little bit of our life lately...which was of course all before our quarantine life.  I suppose I need to do a quarantine post too...because it's certainly part of our life at the moment and something that my kids will know about forever.

Praying for the entire situation and keeping ourselves quarantined!

xox,

Naomi
