Christmas & NYE 2019

The holiday season this year went by SO fast.  It's already the middle of January and I'm just now sitting down to recap it all.  We had such a fun holiday season.  It felt really crazy with the 3 boys, just with their ages and everything.  There's lots of excitement, they understand Santa but they're of course still learning how to be respectful, kind people...ya knowww??  It was fun, chaotic, and exhausting, but also really special and memorable.

We always start the season off with our North Pole Breakfast...

We went downtown to see the lighting of the Christmas tree to put us in the spirit.  It was super cold, so we made sure to drink some yummy hot cocoa to warm us up!

We had fun Christmas parties at school...

and then the boys had the CUTEST little Christmas program...

Jacoby & Maddox held hands while waiting for their turn to sing and it made this mama heart MELT!!!

There are days where they completely exhaust me but then things like these cute little Christmas programs happen and I'm just like "these are the days. this is the life"

We saw as many Christmas lights as we could...

and I will put them in holiday-themed clothing as long as they'll let me...

Of course we saw Santa!!!
Jacoby & Maddox took their ads and showed Santa EXACTLY what they wanted (both requested fart launchers...hahahahha)

We had our annual gingerbread house decorating night with friends...

We cherish these friendships so much!

We celebrated Christmas Eve with a church service...

and then a dinner that took forever and wasn't a fun experience but some day I'll look back and laugh at the chaos....right???

Christmas morning was magical and fun. The kids were so excited, they think Santa is the coolest, and were bouncing off the walls with excitement. I took some videos but I'm having a hard time getting them to load. Here's a sweet pic of all the boys on Christmas Eve ready for SANTA!

We spent Christmas with our families over a couple different days and we enjoyed lots of time with family and friends.

New Year's Eve was spent with friends... I love that we always spend it with friends staying up until midnight (even Jacoby & Maddox made it till midnight!) and ringing in the New Year together.  We've all been friends since college (I graduated 10 years ago!).  Friendships for life.

I rang in 2020 smooching my very favorite person in the world.

2019 was so good to us.
2020 we are ready for you, praying that you are just as good to us!

xox,

Naomi
