3 Month Update {Kendry}

3 MONTHS

My babyyyyyy! Why are you getting so big so fast??? I love watching you grow but kinda want to keep you little forever.  Your daddy says he won't let me baby you but I told him I will baby you forever 😉

EAT

You are breastfed and doing  really well with it.  You've gotten quicker, which is really helpful and you generally eat every 3.5-4 hrs.  

You take a bottle with no problem at all, which is such a blessing too! 

SLEEP

To some you may be an average sleeper but you are BY FAR the best sleeping baby we've had! It's the most amazing thing, haha. You generally go to sleep around 11pm...and you have been waking up around 6ish to eat.  Last night you went to bed at 11:30, woke up at 8:30 to eat and then went back down until I woke you  up at 10:30 so we could go to the grocery store!  I am usually only up with you once at night and getting good sleep right now has been so unexpected yet so beautiful! 

You sleep in a bassinet next to our bed and it's definitely your favorite place to sleep.  I sometimes have you nap in there but I'm trying to work on your afternoon nap in the crib, in preparation to have you move to your crib in the next month or so.  BUT you don't nap great in your crib. I'm not sure why..it's just like the bassinet but bigger.  You'll take a 30min-1 hr nap in there, but if I put you in your swing? You'll sleep for 3 hours.  So for your afternoon nap, you tend to start in your crib and then I transfer you in the swing.  It's what works for now so that all 3 of you can rest at the same time and I can get a few things done!

PLAY

You are the most content, unphased, smiley little boy!  We constantly talk about how you're totally the typical "3rd child" in that you go with the flow, you're happy + just EASY.  Maybe I'm jinxing myself...but you're the easiest baby we've had so far. 

You like your playmat and swing, you love to be held looking out and watching people, your brothers don't phase you a bit as they smother you with kisses.  You aren't even phased when Jacoby +  Maddox play basketball or wrestle while you're sleeping in the same room.  It honestly blows my mind the things you sleep through 😊

You love your pacifier (thankfully!) and are love to suck on your fist as well.  You haven't found your thumb yet, but your fists make you happy!

Kendry Joshua...

Oh how sweet it is to have you in our family!  I couldn't have asked for a better 3rd baby. You sleep well, eat well, and smile often.  Everyone says you look the most like me and I think it's because of your big eyes and big smile! If only I could watch you grow but freeze time too.  You're just so special to me in so many ways.  Maybe because we're both babies of the family so we just "get each other"? You have made my world so much sweeter + I can't wait to see all the beautiful ways you continue to do so.  I love you so, Kendry!
