Summer 2019 went by SO fast! I know it's not "technically" fall yet... but it definitely feels like fall with school starting a couple weeks ago, soccer starting last week, and a regular routine being established.
We did a summer bucket list at the beginning of the summer, so I figured the best way to recap this summer was to look at that bucket list and see what all we were up to!
Swimming
...and I don't have a good video of it because I'm usually in the pool while he's doing it, but Jacoby has made leaps & bounds in the swimming department. We'll take his puddle jumper off and he can swim the whole length of the pool, he can jump in from the side and swim to the steps, and he loves to jump from the steps and dive down to get diving sticks. It's SO fun to watch him learn and start to feel confident (maybe a little over confident..)!
Bike Rides + Black Truck Drives
Chicago Zoo
Go Fishing
he came up with this hilarious chant about the worm...? boys! HA.
Play in sprinklers
South Bend Cubs Game
Movie Theatre
We saw Toy Story 4 and it was SO cute!
Eat Sno Cones
I swear he enjoyed it...haha!
Play soccer & TBall
This one put on a show walking & giggling during one of the tball games :)
The joy of a medal :)
I love that they were able to be on the same team. They would play catch with each other while warming up and it was just so cute to see them out there together! We were able to have them on the same team and Carter & Bella and it was so fun
